SUMMARY:La Nuit Fantastique | AUGUST 12TH–15TH
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“LA NUIT FANTASTIQUE – UN’AVVENTURA SPETTACOLARE NELLA BELLE EPOQUE“\nSome eras never stop seducing us.Not because they were perfect\, but because they knew how to transform life into vision\, desire into art\, and the night into a promise. The Belle Époque is one of these: a feverish\, glittering\, and restless time\, in which painting\, music\, invention\, and dreams seemed to mingle within the very same breath. \nLa Nuit Fantastique invites us to cross that threshold. Not as distant spectators\, but as guests of a Parisian café in the early twentieth century\, immersed in a world where anything can happen: the appearance of brilliant artists and inventors\, the dizzying allure of immortal music\, the glow of an image coming to life\, and the increasingly blurred line between reality and imagination. \nOn stage\, the visionary universe of Les Farfadais meets the presence of actors and musicians\, giving life to a performance that refuses to be confined to a single language. Live music\, theater\, acrobatics\, and contemporary circus intertwine in an all-encompassing narrative\, constructing a score of wonder and amazement. The acrobatic gesture is not virtuosity for its own sake: it is poetic impulse\, metamorphosis\, and apparition. Words accompany the journey like a narrative thread capable of evoking atmospheres\, characters\, and ghosts of an era. Music\, for its part\, opens the space of emotion and transforms the stage into a sensitive threshold. \nEntering La Nuit Fantastique means allowing oneself to be seduced by an imagined and dreamed-of Paris: encountering legendary painters\, listening to visionary composers shrouded in absinthe fumes and the mists of inspiration\, and experiencing the provocative beauty of dancers and eccentric creatures\, until plunging into an almost cinematic dimension where the real and the unreal continually brush against one another. \nIt is a performance that looks back at the Belle Époque not as a nostalgic postcard\, but as a laboratory of imagination\, freedom\, and vertigo. It was a time when art was still capable of scandalizing\, enchanting\, and pushing the boundaries of the possible. And it is precisely this energy that comes back to life on stage\, in an immersive and glittering form—both seductive and visionary. \nLa Nuit Fantastique is\, at its core\, an adventure at the edges of fantasy.Yet it carries the elegance of a Parisian café\, the thrill of the theater\, and the lightness of a dream that\, for one evening\, chooses to become a performance.

SUMMARY:Passion Galliano | AUGUST 11TH
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“PASSION GALLIANO“\nCertain instruments safeguard a collective memory. The accordion is one of these: a popular breath\, a voice of the streets and celebrations\, dance-hall melancholy\, travel\, and nostalgia. But in the hands of Richard Galliano\, this instrument ceases to belong to a single landscape and becomes the world: it traverses jazz\, dialogues with Bach\, brushes against tango\, reinvents French tradition\, and opens itself to the vertigo of improvisation. \nPassion Galliano is an encounter with one of the greatest contemporary interpreters of the accordion\, a true legend who has radically transformed the destiny of his instrument. His music is born from a rare balance: virtuosity and modesty\, rigor and surrender\, formal precision and emotional freedom. Every note seems to carry a double belonging: to the land from which it originates and the horizon toward which it reaches. \nDecisive in his journey was the encounter with Astor Piazzolla\, a master capable of recognizing in Galliano not just a performer\, but an inventor of languages. It was Piazzolla who encouraged him to return to the accordion’s folk roots—not to preserve them as a relic\, but to transform them into living matter. From this intuition\, New Musette was born: a musical vision where French tradition meets jazz improvisation and the anxieties of the present. \nIn Galliano’s long artistic trajectory\, extraordinary encounters resonate: Chet Baker\, Michel Petrucciani\, Ron Carter\, Charlie Haden\, and Wynton Marsalis. These names represent not just a career\, but a constellation of listening\, exchange\, and crossover.Alongside jazz\, Galliano has successfully opened the accordion to classical music\, taking on Johann Sebastian Bach and collaborating with international orchestras and ensembles\, bringing his instrument to the most prestigious venues in the concert world. \nBut his greatness lies not only in having ennobled the accordion. It lies in having revealed its secret soul: the ability to breathe with the listener\, to become a human voice\, a confession\, an impulse\, a vertigo. In his hands\, the accordion does not merely accompany: it narrates. It does not simply add color: it opens up spaces. It does not just evoke the past: it reinvents it. \nPassion Galliano is a concert defined by intensity\, elegance\, and freedom. It is a journey through music as the art of encounter: between tradition and innovation\, intimacy and international scope\, folk memory and contemporary vision. An homage to passion\, understood not as mere emphasis\, but as a profound force—one that transforms a familiar sound into a universal language.

SUMMARY:Not my value - This is not an encore | AUGUST 10TH
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“NOT MY VALUE – THIS IS NOT AN ENCORE”\nThere are concerts that begin when the music starts. And there are others that seem to emerge from a more ambiguous place: from a dream already in progress\, from a mental chamber\, or from an image that we can no longer distinguish as belonging to cinema\, to memory\, or to a gentle nightmare. \nThis Is Not an Encore by Not My Value is born in this border zone. The Milanese duo constructs a dark psychedelic trip-hop universe made of restless echoes\, dreamlike atmospheres\, and sudden sonic reversals.Their music does not move in a straight line: yet\, their concert is not a collection of songs\, but a single\, continuous flow. There are no pauses\, silences\, interruptions\, or explanations: the tracks follow one another seamlessly\, giving life to an immersive experience that captures the attention from start to finish. \nIn perfect harmony with the aesthetic and cultural signature of the Narrazioni Parallele Festival\, the performance does not separate artistic languages but allows them to contaminate one another. Music\, theater\, and visuals become a single flow—an unstable matter where sound generates images\, images open questions\, and the stage transforms into a threshold of perception. \nLeading the journey is NMV84\, a robot made of wood and gears: a fragile and mechanical creature\, an imperfect oracle\, a companion for the crossing. It takes the floor\, formulates philosophical thoughts\, and guides the audience through a path that resembles a nocturnal ritual\, a video game of the unconscious\, or a map waiting to be deciphered. \nThe journey is divided into three acts—Dream\, Limbo\, Reality—like three rooms to walk through or three trials to overcome. Each transition reveals a keyword\, a question\, a possibility of getting lost.Glimpsed within the shadows are the influences of Berardi\, Mark Fisher\, Camus\, Douglas Adams\, David Lynch\, and Chuck Palahniuk: reflections on the present\, the absurd\, and alienation; on escape and emotional survival in a world that often seems programmed to keep us from feeling. \nThis Is Not an Encore is not an encore\, it is not a replica\, and it is not a reassuring return. It is a false finale\, an electric dream that continues just when we thought it had ended.A concert-performance where the audience does not merely watch: they enter a visionary device\, undergo trials\, listen to voices\, and search for signs\, until they find themselves wondering where reality ends and the dream begins. \nAn experience for those who love to get lost in the margins: there\, where sound becomes theater\, thought becomes image\, and a wooden machine can suddenly speak to us of our own humanity.

SUMMARY:Sconcerto | AUGUST 7TH
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“SCONCERTO” – ORCHESTRA SINFONICA DI ASTI E RICCARDO TULLO\nOn one side\, a high-profile orchestra aims to enchant the audience with performances of the most beautiful classical compositions by Mozart\, Beethoven\, Strauss\, and Brahms. On the other\, a gritty showman searches for his stage to express his talent. A twist of fate brings the two together. The result is a tug-of-war fought with music and baton strikes—an exhilarating musical duel featuring surprising and unexpected pop infusions. \nIt is a show that bridges the gap between distant generations: he is the only one who can transform a great classic like Va\, pensiero into a trap music track and modernize Jerry Lewis’s famous “Typewriter” scene into “Whatsappwriter\,” replacing the now-obsolete typewriter with the modern smartphone. \nAn innovative and overwhelming show that has sold out every single date of its tour. It blends different styles\, registers\, and languages—a mix of music and theater\, solemnity and comedy\, classical performance and cabaret. In other words\, a clash between those who want to “harmonize” and those who want to “disrupt.” \nBut SConcerto is also a “role-play” and a play on roles. The Orchestra itself becomes a character\, called upon to perform true musical acrobatics at the mercy of an eccentric conductor. He attempts to hide his inadequacy for the position he has claimed and frequently breaks the fourth wall\, drawing the audience into his wild and “disconcerting” inventions. \nAn unmissable appointment that issues a plea to the spectators: do not leave the Orchestra alone in the hands of a madman.

SUMMARY:ESP - Extra Sensory Perception | AUGUST 5TH
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“ESP – Extra Sensory Perception” – CUBO TEATRO E BENEDETTA PARISI\nThere are places that are not visited only with the eyes. They are crossed with the body\, with listening\, and with the imagination. Sometimes a single voice—near\, invisible\, almost interior—is enough for what seemed like a landscape to become a threshold\, and for what seemed like a ruin to become a presence once more. \nWith ESP – Extra Sensory Perception\, Cubo Teatro and Benedetta Parisi build a sensory and interactive experience designed for the Tur d’Amun in Bardonecchia\, an archaeological park that preserves the remains of the ancient manor castle. Here\, there is no stage to watch: the place itself becomes the stage. The stones\, the trajectories\, the silences\, and the encounters become part of an immersive device in which the performance happens\, first and foremost\, in the mind of the participant. \nThe term extra-sensory perception usually refers to phenomena that go beyond the five senses. ESPreverses this meaning: it doesn’t invite an escape from perception\, but rather its amplification.Through an audio track\, a voice guides the audience on a journey of stories\, scores\, and mental visualizations. It is a path between the real and the liminal\, where imagination is not an escape\, but a tool to inhabit space more intensely and to discover what\, normally\, remains at the margins of our gaze. \nEach spectator embarks on their own individual journey\, yet they are never entirely alone. Trajectories graze one another\, glances meet\, and the presence of others becomes signals\, apparitions\, fragments of a silent narrative. In the Tur d’Amun\, between archaeological memory and contemporary perception\, the past is not merely told: it is listened to\, walked through\, and imagined. \nESP is an experience that is both intimate and collective. It is an invitation to let the voice open a crack in the ordinary\, transforming the visit into a ritual\, the landscape into a vision\, and the location into a secret map of perceptions. \nDesigned for a small group of spectators (maximum 20 people at a time)\, ESP is specifically structured into 4 performances\, each lasting approximately one hour.

SUMMARY:Bri-Boosta | 4 AGOSTO
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“BRI-BOOSTA”\nNPF brings to the Palazzo delle Feste in Bardonecchia an event that is\, above all\, a meeting of creative visions: “Bri-Boosta”. \nOn stage\, two seemingly contrasting artistic personalities come together in a unique sonic journey\, where piano\, electronics\, and percussion become the language of a profound dialogue. \nDavide “Boosta” Dileo needs no introduction\, yet he continues to surprise with his ability to defy definition. Co-founder and keyboardist of Subsonica\, he has spent more than twenty-five years on the Italian music scene\, moving seamlessly between electronic music\, pop\, sonic experimentation\, and composition for film and visual media. \nHis artistic journey has taken him from major live stages to more intimate and experimental projects\, including piano composition\, installations\, and immersive experiences. For Boosta\, sound is never merely accompaniment: it is a narrative medium\, an emotional space\, and a tool capable of transforming perception. \nAn eclectic musician and versatile artist\, Boosta inhabits the space between sophisticated pop and experimentation. At the piano\, his research becomes intimate\, creating harmonic structures that electronics then expand\, fragment\, and project into the future. \nOn the other side of the stage we find Rossana Bribò\, a young talent with an already international profile who embodies the new energy of contemporary percussion. Her presence is magnetic\, combining technical precision with an instinctive sensitivity in shaping rhythm. Bribò does not simply provide accompaniment: she challenges\, responds\, and enriches the sonic fabric with an organic force that perfectly balances Dileo’s digital architectures. \nBriBoosta is the story of this exchange. It is the meeting between the maturity of an artist who has explored stages of every scale and the vitality and energy of a rising career. It is not just a concert\, but an experiment in balance: between the contemplation of the black and white keys and the physical impact of the beat\, between established experience and the boldness of youth. \nA unique\, unmissable event\, created especially for the Narrazioni Parallele Festival and for those who want to experience how two such powerful identities can let go of a part of themselves to create\, together\, a sound that has never existed before.

SUMMARY:Terre du Ciel | AUGUST 2ND
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“TERRE DU CIEL” – GIUSEPPE CEDERNA CON JAIME GONZALEZ E WADI ENSEMBLE\nThere are places where the earth seems to draw closer to the sky.Hamlets suspended between memory and the wind\, stones that guard voices\, mountains that are not merely landscape but destiny\, wound\, protection\, and story. \nRochemolles\, a marvelous hamlet of Bardonecchia\, is one of these places. Overwhelmed and destroyed by an avalanche in 1706\, and struck again in 1961\, it carries within its history the mark of an ancient fragility and a stubborn capacity for rebirth. It is here that the Narrazioni Parallele Festival presents the national premiere of “Terre du Ciel”\, a work that intertwines theater\, music\, and literature until the breath of the performers coincides with that of the landscape. \nThe starting point is the novel published in 1921 by Charles-Ferdinand Ramuz: the story of a mountain village overwhelmed by an avalanche\, whose inhabitants are reborn in a luminous\, almost celestial elsewhere. Gradually\, they forget their suffering\, as if happiness could erase the memory of pain.Yet\, a small loss—a stray animal\, a crack in the everyday—is enough for the past to resurface and for the sky to reveal its restlessness. Always poised between mysticism and daily life\, it describes the perennial struggle within the human soul between good and evil\, between a perhaps unreal Paradise and a Hell always ready to burst through. \nIn this “village in the sky\,” the mountain is never a mere backdrop. It is a living presence\, a force that both protects and threatens—a place where beauty and danger inhabit the same threshold. \nFor this reason\, Terre du Ciel finds a natural home in Rochemolles: it does not simply bring a story to a place\, but allows the place itself to become part of the story. Its stones\, its silences\, and its memories of resilience and community enter the dramaturgy as an additional voice. \nLeading the narrative is Giuseppe Cederna\, an extraordinary performer capable of turning words into both a physical and interior journey. Alongside him\, the oboe of Jaime Gonzalez\, professor at the Hochschule in Bern\, the percussion of Rossana Bribò\, and the accordion of Mario Romeo—young talents from the Wadi Ensemble—construct a soundscape where the music seems to emerge from the very matter of the mountain: from the footstep\, the breath\, the echo\, and the distance. \nAnd the musical composition blends “poor” or “rustic” sounds—such as the accordion\, percussion\, and various types of oboes—with an expansive and melodic vocality that never sacrifices expressiveness. \nGiuseppe Cederna: narrator \nJaime Gonzalez: oboe \nRossana Bribò: percussion \nMario Romeo: accordion \nSoprano: Alida Ilaria Quilico \nMezzosoprano: Maria Salvini \nTenor: Rocco Sharkey \nGiuseppe Serreli: baritone \nText and music: Willy Merz

SUMMARY:Veni\, Vidi\, So - il Borgo Forte | JULY 26TH
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“VENI\, VIDI\, SO – IL BORGO FORTE”\nDo we truly see when we see?And what happens when the gaze\, instead of possessing the world\, accepts getting lost? \nVENI\, VIDI\, SO—the gaze that knows is born from this simple and dizzying question. Seeing is never merely seeing: every vision carries a shadow with it\, every light guards a fragment of night\, every gaze needs a veil\, an obstacle\, a distance to truly learn how to know. \nThe performance by Compagnia Tecnologia Filosofica invites the audience to enter an experience of mobile\, fragile\, and continuously transforming perception. Two dancers and a musician inhabit the space like an open question: where does the action happen? From where am I watching it? What changes if the dance appears from the side\, from afar\, through a gap\, behind a threshold\, or within a sudden frame? And how does the music change when it does not simply accompany the scene\, but breathes together with the place? \nFor Narrazioni Parallele Festival\, VENI\, VIDI\, SO becomes a site-specific project built upon the locations of the Borgo di Fenestrelle and the Forte di Fenestrelle. It is not a single show repeated in different spaces\, but an organism that changes shape according to the landscape that welcomes it. The Village and the Fortress are not backdrops: they are bodies\, surfaces\, memories\, and perspectives—places that look back and ask to be looked at differently. \nOn July 26th\, with VENI\, VIDI\, SO_Il Borgo Forte\, the show focuses on the VILLAGE: here\, the gaze becomes wandering\, contact\, and minute life. The houses\, the passageways\, the openings\, and the everyday distances become points of observation. The audience does not merely watch: they search\, peer\, move\, and construct their own frame. The village becomes a body\, a place of relationship\, a space where the familiar can suddenly become enigmatic. \nVENI\, VIDI\, SO is an invitation to see with different eyes\, to listen with different ears\, and to touch with different hands. A performance that interweaves dance\, live soundscapes\, gesture\, matter\, and community\, reminding us—along with Merleau-Ponty—that we see the world\, yet we must learn to see it anew every day.

Here\, the gaze takes on another vibration: broader\, more vertical\, perhaps more restless. SUMMARY:Veni\, Vidi\, So - Lo sguardo che conosce | JULY 24TH
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“VENI\, VIDI\, SO – LO SGUARDO CHE CONOSCE”\nDo we truly see when we see?And what happens when the gaze\, instead of possessing the world\, accepts getting lost? \nOn July 24th\, the Preview opens the journey like a first threshold: an invitation to arrange one’s gaze\, to enter a grammar of perception made of waiting\, proximity\, and displacement. \nOn July 25th\, with VENI\, VIDI\, SO_Il Forte Borgo\, the performance focuses on the Village: here\, the gaze becomes wandering\, contact\, and minute life. The houses\, the passageways\, the openings\, and the everyday distances become points of observation. The audience does not merely watch: they search\, peer\, move\, and construct their own frame. The village becomes a body\, a place of relationship\, a space where the familiar can suddenly become enigmatic. \nOn July 26th\, with VENI\, VIDI\, SO_Il Borgo Forte\, the performance turns its attention to the Fortress: monumental architecture\, stratified memory\, a machine made of stone and vision. Here\, the gaze takes on a different vibration: broader\, more vertical\, perhaps more restless. Perspective expands\, the body measures distance\, and the music inhabits cavities\, surfaces\, and echoes. Within the Fortress\, seeing means confronting that which looms over\, protects\, separates\, and preserves. \nThree moments\, then\, and two performances that reflect each other without coinciding. It is as if the Village and the Fortress were two different eyes of the same landscape: one more intimate\, inhabited\, and close to the community’s skin; the other vaster\, mineral\, and suspended between defense\, memory\, and the horizon.

SUMMARY:Rapsodia di Terra e di Luna - Le voci femminili dell'antichità | JULY 4TH
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“RAPSODIA DI TERRA E DI LUNA – LE VOCI FEMMINILI DELL’ANTICHITÀ” – ANGELICA CATHARIOU\, MARIA ELENA BOVIO\, ALEXANDAR GRANDAL\nThere are voices that arrive from afar and have never stopped speaking to us.They are voices carved in stone\, entrusted to the memory of temples\, preserved in fragments of poetry\, having survived the collapse of empires and the dust of centuries. Voices of women who do not belong only to the past: they traverse it\, they break through it\, and they illuminate it. \nWith Rapsodia di Terra e di Luna\, the voice of Angelica Cathariou\, the harp of Maria Elena Bovio\, and the bassoon of Alexander Grandal open a sonic gateway toward archaic Greece and even more remote civilizations\, forgotten only in appearance. The concert thus becomes a journey between vanished worlds and contemporary sensibility\, where music does not simply reconstruct the ancient\, but awakens it as living matter—fragile and incandescent. \nAt the heart of this journey emerge female figures who inhabited the word as an act of love\, power\, and prayer. Enheduanna\, princess and priestess in the empire of Sargon and among the first authors known by name\, projects a voice that unites the sacred with politics\, and song with spiritual authority. Sappho\, from her thiasos\, transforms desire into an absolute poetic form\, making intimacy a force capable of spanning millennia. Sulpicia\, in 1st-century BCE Rome\, imbues the language of love with a surprising freedom that remains close\, direct\, and ardent even today. \nGiving body to these presences is a trio with a rare timbre: the intense voice of Angelica Cathariou\, an artist capable of moving between musical theater\, operatic repertoire\, and contemporary research; the harp of Maria Elena Bovio\, professor at the “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Milan and an active performer across classical repertoire and the music of today; and the bassoon of Alexander Grandal\, principal bassoon of the RAI National Symphony Orchestra—an instrument with a deep\, archaic\, almost terrestrial voice. \nVoice\, harp\, and bassoon form an unexpected sonic constellation: breath\, string\, and wood. Three different materials that evoke ritual\, storytelling\, and memory. \nRapsodia di Terra e di Luna is not a museum-piece tribute\, but a living experience of listening. It is an invitation to recognize\, in the words of these women\, questions that have never been extinguished: desire\, power\, the relationship with the divine\, the body\, freedom\, and the possibility of leaving a trace. Because some voices do not ask to be remembered: they ask to be heard once again.

SUMMARY:Ancia Elettronica | JULY 3RD
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n“ANCIA ELETTRONICA” – ANDRAŽ GOLOB E CRISTINA MERCURI\nIn the spirit of the Festival\, encounters inspired by “parallel narratives” multiply: visions that intertwine in an exciting and surprising way\, even though they seem destined never to meet. \nWith “Ancia Elettronica\,” Andraž Golob and Cristina Mercuri inhabit this very distance: not to erase it\, but to traverse it. The project is born from the most authentic spirit of the Narrazioni Parallele Festival: connecting trajectories that would seem destined to move separately\, and discovering instead that a new language can emerge precisely from the gap\, the friction\, and mutual listening. \nGolob brings with him the rigor and depth of an international classical training: a Slovenian clarinetist\, he has been the bass clarinetist of the Berliner Philharmoniker since 2021\, following a journey that led him from Slovenia to Graz through orchestral and chamber music experiences of the highest level. Cristina Mercuri\, meanwhile\, brings the vibration of electronic sound—the possibility of transforming acoustic matter into mental space\, impulse\, reverberation\, and vision. \nTheir encounter does not seek a reassuring fusion. On the contrary\, it accepts the risk of contrast: references\, deviations\, hints\, sudden fractures\, and moments of unexpected synthesis. The reed becomes a threshold\, the electronics become breath; the instrumental gesture extends into the circuitry\, while the digital sound seems to search for its own flesh\, its own voice.

SUMMARY:Passi Egizi | JULY 1ST
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n“P A Ƨ S I Ʃ G I Z I” – SABRINA OGGERO VIALE TRIO\nThere are journeys that do not cross space\, but rather the deep time of civilizations.Journeys that begin with a voice and open\, note after note\, a threshold: towards ritual\, myth\, the night\, memory. \nWith P A Ƨ S I Ʃ G I Z I\, conceived by Sabrina Oggero Viale on the occasion of the bicentenary of the Egyptian Museum in Turin\, the concert becomes a sonic experience of passage. Not a simple evocation of ancient Egypt\, but an imaginary journey among powerful and ambivalent presences: creator and destroyer goddesses\, figures both revered and feared\, temple singers\, priestesses—voices that seem to emerge from a remote time and yet still speak to our present. \nAt the center is the song: guide\, invocation\, living matter. It is the voice that leads us through the nocturnal journey of the Sun God Ra\, bringing us before the “false door” of the temple\, where the boundary between life and the afterlife becomes a question\, a doubt\, a vertigo. It is the voice\, once again\, that calls upon Princess Ahmose—whose mummy is preserved in Turin—and finally opens a space of light with Amel—hope\, in Arabic—as an invitation to rejoice and sing\, now as then. \nDifferent languages—English\, Italian\, French\, Arabic\, and grammelot—merge into a sonic line that unites eras and worlds. Jazz\, folk and ritual singing\, pop\, and improvisation intertwine like sand\, wind\, and breath. Alongside the voice of Sabrina Oggero Viale\, the classical guitar of Loris Deval and the trumpet with live effects by Tiziano Codoro build an acoustic and electric landscape\, both fragile and visionary: nocturnal atmospheres\, ritual chants\, and delicate lyrical suspensions suddenly crossed by jazz and shamanic solos. \nP A Ƨ S I Ʃ G I Z I is a sonic bridge between what was and what continues to vibrate. A contemporary ritual in which the ancient is not contemplated from afar\, but awakened: like a buried voice that calls to us again\, from other times\, toward hope.

SUMMARY:Metamorfosi - Sentieri del mistero | MAY 25TH
DESCRIPTION:Book now\n\n\n\n\n“METAMORFOSI – SENTIERI DEL MISTERO”\nAn immersive\, site-specific experience where music\, dance\, and technology merge into a single creative breath\, giving life to an unprecedented sensory journey. In the heart of Campus Grapes—the world’s first high-tech urban vineyard—the audience is invited to lose and find themselves in a labyrinth of visions\, sounds\, and presences. There is no single perspective: everyone builds their own journey\, crossing choreographic “paths” that evoke ancient myths\, contemporary tensions\, and interior landscapes. \nAt the center of this experience is the meeting between the international talent of oboist Pedro Pereira De Sá\, principal oboe of the Teatro alla Scala\, and the expressive power of the EgriBiancoDanza company\, the protagonist of a choreographic language capable of transforming space into living matter. The electronic and interactive sounds of Cristina Mercuri amplify and transform the sound\, making the spectator an active part of the work. \n“Metamorfosi” draws inspiration from mythical figures and Ovid’s narratives\, translating them into a contemporary experience: nymphs\, deities\, and archetypes emerge among the vines like fleeting apparitions\, guiding the audience along an emotional and symbolic itinerary. Thus\, “Sentieri del mistero” becomes a journey both inside and outside oneself: a mosaic of choreographic fragments exploring light and shadow\, desire and restlessness\, love and loss\, with no defined beginning or end. \nIn this space suspended between nature\, innovation\, and imagination\, the spectator doesn’t simply watch: they choose\, move\, listen\, and build their own narrative through the active use of their smartphone\, integrating live sounds with an ambient soundscape heard through headphones using this QR Code: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA contemporary ritual\, a choreophony in which every perception is transformed and every experience becomes unique. \nOboe: Pedro Pereira de SàConcept and choreography: Raphael BiancoLive music: Cristina Mercuri

DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“ALTROVE – ALTRI LUOGHI\, NUOVE VIE”\nThe Greek myth is revisited in the work of Willy Merz\, following the Hellenistic version by Apollonius Rhodes\, the famous librarian of Alexandria. The story of the love between Jason and Medea is viewed here through a rational\, scientific\, and unconventional lens: suffice it to say that all the protagonists carry out their actions almost with indifference\, if not outright annoyance. Jason would simply like to stay quietly at home\, while Medea seems more interested in the Greek’s fine clothes than moved by any real sentiment. Furthermore\, the story ends with the two lovers returning happily to Greece\, a happy ending that cannot help but make those familiar with the dramatic sequel smile. All this makes it a story decidedly in tune with contemporary sensibility\, allowing for a play of stylistic references within the score.A unique feature is then provided by the choral writing: very simple\, entirely in unison\, it allows those in the audience who wish to do so—following a preliminary rehearsal on the early afternoon of September 20th—to participate in the singing.A way of rediscovering the ancient community spirit of Greek Tragedy. \nJoin the choir of Argonauts\, even if you don’t read music! SUMMARY:molom: "Frammenti di una matrice pronta a esplodere" | September 20th
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“TERRA – IL SUONO DELLA TERRA\, I CANTI DELLE TERRE”\n“Frammenti di una matrice pronta a esplodere” (Fragments of a matrix ready to explode) combines the art of sculpture and its gestures with real-time sound processing through a live performance in which stone becomes an engraving material\, both musical and physically tangible. Granular synthesis\, polymeters of sound objects\, microsounds\, ripples\, dense matter\, and imperfections. \nThe parallelism between fullness and emptiness highlights how sculpture\, the art of removal\, reveals hidden forms\, while sound manifests through the voids created. This dialogue between removing and adding creates a tension that invites reflection on the dichotomies of absence / presence and silence / noise. \nMolom’s performances are experiences that embrace the interconnection between visual arts and sound art\, creating a vibrant dialogue between two art forms that are part of the two performers’ backgrounds. \nmolom (musica organica legata all’osservazione del movimento) is an artist duo that has been active in the artistic and cultural scene for years\, integrating sound and matter through a multidisciplinary practice. Materials are considered not only as static objects but as active elements that participate in the artistic action\, interacting with sound\, movement\, and context. \n\n\n\nADMISSION FOR ALL PERFORMANCES OF THE “TERRA” DAY: €15 – REDUCED RATE FOR THOSE PURCHASING AN EXHIBITION TICKET AT FONDAZIONE MERZ (purchased at the Foundation’s ticket office): €10 \nA “NARRAZIONI PARALLELE FOOD & DRINK” AREA WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ENJOY A LATE AFTERNOON AND AN EVENING OF RELAXATION AND CULTURE.

SUMMARY:Christoph Hartmann: "Metamorphoses" | September 20th
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“ALTROVE – ALTRI LUOGHI\, NUOVE VIE”\n“The concert is about to begin: the audience is kindly requested to keep their smartphones turned on!” \nIt is certainly unusual to hear such an invitation. Yet\, this is exactly what will happen at this extraordinary concert for oboe and—precisely—smartphone. \nThis is an innovative and technologically advanced version of Benjamin Britten’s Metamorphoses for solo oboe\, offering a complete immersion into the ancient Mediterranean world. \nFraming and contextualizing this work are several contemporary pieces reflecting on the themes of the exhibition at Fondazione Merz\, “Mario Merz Prize 5. Shortlist art exhibition\,” which will close on September 21st\, coinciding with the conclusion of the Narrazioni Parallele Festival. Among the pieces are Antal Dorati’s Five Pieces and a composition by the Sicilian Gianluca Cangemi\, Sacra * 3\, specially created for the occasion\, in which ancient Sicilian folk evocations intertwine with Palestinian songs. \nThe program concludes with the premiere of Metamorphosis by Willy Merz\, which blends sonic references to ancient characters from Ovid’s text with soundscapes of endangered natural sites through an experimental use of smartphone technology. Nature and Technology vibrate together with the music in an innovative way\, thanks also to the performance by Christoph Hartmann\, one of the world’s great oboists. A member of the Berlin Philharmonic since 1992\, he currently maintains an intensive concert schedule as a soloist in Europe\, Asia\, and the United States. \n\n\n\nADMISSION FOR ALL PERFORMANCES OF THE “ALTROVE” DAY: €15 – REDUCED RATE FOR THOSE PURCHASING AN EXHIBITION TICKET AT FONDAZIONE MERZ (purchased at the Foundation’s ticket office): €10 \nA “NARRAZIONI PARALLELE FOOD & DRINK” AREA WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ENJOY A LATE AFTERNOON AND AN EVENING OF RELAXATION AND CULTURE.

SUMMARY:Wadi Ensemble: "I Fantasmi di Fenestrelle" | AUGUST 11TH
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\nThere is a legend\, a curious story: it is said that there is a ghost at the Fenestrelle Fort. There are those who swear they have sensed it\, heard it… even seen it. Is it just a trick of the imagination\, triggered by the shadows and shifting spaces of an imposing fortress that was once inhabited by hundreds of men? An unconscious desire to evoke its presence? \nBut who are the “ghosts” that this extraordinary concert-performance evokes? Types of characters\, people who could be found in the fortress at the time: in the Fort or in other similar fortresses. Here then are The Soldiers\, The “Turkish” Prisoner\, The Amorous Knight\, The Philosopher Commander. Between historical suggestions and musical impressions from different eras and different places. \nThe musicians of WADI\, in a decidedly unusual lineup of baritone\, mandolin\, and percussion\, use all the suggestive power of music to rediscover and bring the Fort back to life. The concert\, created specifically for the Narrazioni Parallele Festival and the spaces of the Fenestrelle Fort\, is a continuous flow and evolution of musical and sonic identities designed for active participation by the audience. \nThe Arabic word “wadi” indicates the bed of a river with an irregular hydrogeological layout\, whose fertile land is a promise of rich cultivation\, civilization\, and exchange. The Wadi project ensembles organically bring together musicians from different traditions and languages\, ranging from improvisation to the most rigorous composition. \nSINGLE ADMISSION: €10

SUMMARY:Cristina Donà\, Elena Dak\, Saverio Lanza: "La Musa e l’orizzonte" | AUGUST 10TH
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\nThe horizon is the starting point. It is the line that invites one to wonder and then explore what it hides\, unfolds\, and promises. The journey of exploration on which the spectator is led begins with true or imagined experiences\, opening up ever-new geographical and anthropological scenarios to wander through with all the senses. \nThe word\, expressed through stage readings and song\, soars on the notes of a soundscape created specifically to lead along the paths of the world. The horizon is the goal to yearn for\, but also the inspiring Muse for the three protagonists\, who\, despite having different alphabets\, know how to find a common language. \nAn icon of independent music\, Cristina Donà\, an anthropologist\, Elena Dak\, and a composer and musical experimentalist\, Saverio Lanza (winner of the Tenco Prize in 2015 and already collaborator with Bugo\, PGR\, Vasco Rossi\, Piero Pelù\, Biagio Antonacci\, Irene Grandi\, and Stefano Bollani) come together to tell\, through music and words\, what unfolds behind every journey\, beyond the horizon. \nThe long and successful artistic journey that makes Cristina Donà one of the most original voices on the Italian musical scene began in the early nineties. Cristina\, who helped define a new era of Mediterranean-rooted rock\, is one of the few Italian artists capable of “rivaling” the great international colleagues who reinvented the model of the singer-songwriter. Always capable of renewing herself\, Donà first became a point of reference and then an inspiring figure for new generations of Italian musicians. \nElena Dak\, born Elena Dacome\, is an anthropologist\, Saharan guide\, and writer. Born in Venice in 1970\, she has worked for twenty years as a guide in Africa\, the Middle East\, and Central Asia for various Italian and international operators. She holds a degree in Conservation of Cultural Heritage with an anthropological focus from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice\, and a degree in Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences from Bicocca University in Milan. She has held several seminars and lectures at Ca’ Foscari\, Bicocca\, and the Universities of Bologna and Parma\, as well as online conferences and courses in the anthropology of nomadism. For years\, she has been one of the faces of the TV program Overland as an expert in anthropological and cultural insights. \nSaverio Lanza works in a musical field that straddles the line between experimental music and singer-songwriter traditions\, both as a producer and as an author\, in the studio and live. Among the various artists he has collaborated with are Cristina Donà—with whom he received the Tenco Prize in 2015—PGR (formerly CSI)\, Ginevra Di Marco\, Bugo\, Vasco Rossi\, Piero Pelù\, Biagio Antonacci\, Arisa\, Sarah Jane Morris\, and Irene Grandi & Stefano Bollani. In 2005\, together with his brother\, photographer Marco Lanza\, he founded the PASTIS project\, positioned between photography\, video\, and music\, winning the Ciampi Prize in the “L’altrarte” section and exhibiting works at the Tribeca Cinema in New York. \nSaverio Lanza : chitarre\, piano\, paesaggi sonori \nElena Dak: narrator\, explorations \nSaverio Lanza: guitars\, piano\, soundscapes \nSINGLE ENTRY: €15
