DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“TERRA – IL SUONO DELLA TERRA\, I CANTI DELLE TERRE”\n“Frammenti di una matrice pronta a esplodere” (Fragments of a matrix ready to explode) combines the art of sculpture and its gestures with real-time sound processing through a live performance in which stone becomes an engraving material\, both musical and physically tangible. Granular synthesis\, polymeters of sound objects\, microsounds\, ripples\, dense matter\, and imperfections.  \nThe parallelism between fullness and emptiness highlights how sculpture\, the art of removal\, reveals hidden forms\, while sound manifests through the voids created. This dialogue between removing and adding creates a tension that invites reflection on the dichotomies of absence / presence and silence / noise.  \nMolom’s performances are experiences that embrace the interconnection between visual arts and sound art\, creating a vibrant dialogue between two art forms that are part of the two performers’ backgrounds. \nmolom (musica organica legata all’osservazione del movimento) is an artist duo that has been active in the artistic and cultural scene for years\, integrating sound and matter through a multidisciplinary practice. Yet\, this is exactly what will happen at this extraordinary concert for oboe and—precisely—smartphone. \nThis is an innovative and technologically advanced version of Benjamin Britten’s Metamorphoses for solo oboe\, offering a complete immersion into the ancient Mediterranean world. \nFraming and contextualizing this work are several contemporary pieces reflecting on the themes of the exhibition at Fondazione Merz\, “Mario Merz Prize 5. Shortlist art exhibition\,” which will close on September 21st\, coinciding with the conclusion of the Narrazioni Parallele Festival. Among the pieces are Antal Dorati’s Five Pieces and a composition by the Sicilian Gianluca Cangemi\, Sacra * 3\, specially created for the occasion\, in which ancient Sicilian folk evocations intertwine with Palestinian songs. \nThe program concludes with the premiere of Metamorphosis by Willy Merz\, which blends sonic references to ancient characters from Ovid’s text with soundscapes of endangered natural sites through an experimental use of smartphone technology. Nature and Technology vibrate together with the music in an innovative way\, thanks also to the performance by Christoph Hartmann\, one of the world’s great oboists. Throughout their 25-year history\, they have created daring and breathtaking performances staged across the globe. The Company balances unusual\, often avant-garde events with more traditional shows produced across its three locations in France\, Spain\, and the United States. Over the years\, Les Farfadais have collaborated with famous musicians\, sharing the stage during concerts and tours with artists such as Kylie Minogue\, Alicia Keys\, Wyclef Jean\, and Johnny Hallyday.    \nDebora Benincasa is an actress and playwright. A graduate of DAMS in Bologna\, she is among the founders of the Anomalia Teatro company. In 2016\, she debuted with ANTIGONE – monologo per donna sola (Antigone – Monologue for a Woman Alone)\, a show she continues to perform with over a hundred stagings to date; it won the Mauro Rostagno Award for best playwriting and was published by Suigeneris. Is it just a trick of the imagination\, triggered by the shadows and shifting spaces of an imposing fortress that was once inhabited by hundreds of men? An unconscious desire to evoke its presence? \nBut who are the “ghosts” that this extraordinary concert-performance evokes? Types of characters\, people who could be found in the fortress at the time: in the Fort or in other similar fortresses. Here then are The Soldiers\, The “Turkish” Prisoner\, The Amorous Knight\, The Philosopher Commander. The horizon is the goal to yearn for\, but also the inspiring Muse for the three protagonists\, who\, despite having different alphabets\, know how to find a common language.  \nAn icon of independent music\, Cristina Donà\, an anthropologist\, Elena Dak\, and a composer and musical experimentalist\, Saverio Lanza (winner of the Tenco Prize in 2015 and already collaborator with Bugo\, PGR\, Vasco Rossi\, Piero Pelù\, Biagio Antonacci\, Irene Grandi\, and Stefano Bollani) come together to tell\, through music and words\, what unfolds behind every journey\, beyond the horizon. \nThe long and successful artistic journey that makes Cristina Donà one of the most original voices on the Italian musical scene began in the early nineties. Cristina\, who helped define a new era of Mediterranean-rooted rock\, is one of the few Italian artists capable of “rivaling” the great international colleagues who reinvented the model of the singer-songwriter. Always capable of renewing herself\, Donà first became a point of reference and then an inspiring figure for new generations of Italian musicians.   \nElena Dak\, born Elena Dacome\, is an anthropologist\, Saharan guide\, and writer. Born in Venice in 1970\, she has worked for twenty years as a guide in Africa\, the Middle East\, and Central Asia for various Italian and international operators. She holds a degree in Conservation of Cultural Heritage with an anthropological focus from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice\, and a degree in Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences from Bicocca University in Milan. She has held several seminars and lectures at Ca’ Foscari\, Bicocca\, and the Universities of Bologna and Parma\, as well as online conferences and courses in the anthropology of nomadism. For years\, she has been one of the faces of the TV program Overland as an expert in anthropological and cultural insights.     \nSaverio Lanza works in a musical field that straddles the line between experimental music and singer-songwriter traditions\, both as a producer and as an author\, in the studio and live. Among the various artists he has collaborated with are Cristina Donà—with whom he received the Tenco Prize in 2015—PGR (formerly CSI)\, Ginevra Di Marco\, Bugo\, Vasco Rossi\, Piero Pelù\, Biagio Antonacci\, Arisa\, Sarah Jane Morris\, and Irene Grandi & Stefano Bollani. DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\nVirtual reality is the highly anticipated second show by the Ukrainian mime quartet Dekru\, produced by Mosaico Errante\, a company dedicated to bringing the art and tradition of popular performance to theaters across Italy and around the world.A show of bodily virtuosity in which the concept of “virtual reality” takes on three intersecting meanings: virtual is the reality of the technological devices we use daily (smartphones and computers first and foremost). But it is also the one created by pantomime\, which manages to make us see things that are not there and is therefore the most suitable form of expression to describe the hyper-connected universe in which we are immersed. Finally\, virtual reality is also the one that each spectator constructs in their own mind\, interpreting what is in front of them in their own way.  \nVirtual reality is a humorous\, evocative and dynamic investigation into the relationship between the physical and the digital and on the influence that modern media has on our lives. A series of scenes\, between the daily and the dreamlike\, which without the use of words\, tools and sets\, manages to perfectly convey the concrete and emotional details of the situations shown thanks to an extraordinary mimetic capacity and a plastic flexibility of bodies that become whatever the imagination of the four artists on stage desires.  \nA show made of stories and “stories”: love and Instagram\, poetry and TikTok. Aided by the public’s imagination\, the stage—while remaining empty—fills with headsets\, mobile phones\, social networks\, but also with crash test dummies that come to life and ambiguous nightclub characters. As if in an interactive game or an analog video game\, the spectators take part in the action by interacting with the artists\, who challenge them to basketball (obviously with an imaginary ball)\, transform them into living statues\, and involve them in their choreography.   \nConsidered the spiritual heirs of Master Marcel Marceau and winners at the Odessa Festival of Clowns and Mimes\, with their universal language these artists have amused and moved hundreds of cities in countries all over the world\, including France\, Germany\, Spain\, Polynesia\, New Caledonia\, Belgium\, the Netherlands\, Poland\, Hungary\, Romania and Switzerland\, as well as             Ukraine and Italy\, where they have performed in prestigious theaters such as the Comunale in Vicenza\, the Apollo in Lecce and the Salieri in Legnago. \nThe ability to treat great themes with lightness and the group’s irresistible empathy has allowed Dekru to also win over the vast audiences of TV programs such as Ukraine’s Got Talent and Tu sí que vales Italy.
