SUMMARY:Passi Egizi | JULY 1ST
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n“P A Ƨ S I Ʃ G I Z I” – SABRINA OGGERO VIALE TRIO\nThere are journeys that do not cross space\, but rather the deep time of civilizations.Journeys that begin with a voice and open\, note after note\, a threshold: towards ritual\, myth\, the night\, memory. \nWith P A Ƨ S I Ʃ G I Z I\, conceived by Sabrina Oggero Viale on the occasion of the bicentenary of the Egyptian Museum in Turin\, the concert becomes a sonic experience of passage. Not a simple evocation of ancient Egypt\, but an imaginary journey among powerful and ambivalent presences: creator and destroyer goddesses\, figures both revered and feared\, temple singers\, priestesses—voices that seem to emerge from a remote time and yet still speak to our present. \nAt the center is the song: guide\, invocation\, living matter. It is the voice that leads us through the nocturnal journey of the Sun God Ra\, bringing us before the “false door” of the temple\, where the boundary between life and the afterlife becomes a question\, a doubt\, a vertigo. It is the voice\, once again\, that calls upon Princess Ahmose—whose mummy is preserved in Turin—and finally opens a space of light with Amel—hope\, in Arabic—as an invitation to rejoice and sing\, now as then. \nDifferent languages—English\, Italian\, French\, Arabic\, and grammelot—merge into a sonic line that unites eras and worlds. Jazz\, folk and ritual singing\, pop\, and improvisation intertwine like sand\, wind\, and breath. Alongside the voice of Sabrina Oggero Viale\, the classical guitar of Loris Deval and the trumpet with live effects by Tiziano Codoro build an acoustic and electric landscape\, both fragile and visionary: nocturnal atmospheres\, ritual chants\, and delicate lyrical suspensions suddenly crossed by jazz and shamanic solos. \nP A Ƨ S I Ʃ G I Z I is a sonic bridge between what was and what continues to vibrate. A contemporary ritual in which the ancient is not contemplated from afar\, but awakened: like a buried voice that calls to us again\, from other times\, toward hope.

SUMMARY:Moirai | JULY 2ND
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n“MOIRAI”\nMoirai is the Greek term for the Fates\, the personifications of destiny. At the invitation to draw inspiration from the art of weaving\, Bianco—accompanied by Monteverdi’s madrigals—highlights those slender threads that seem to determine our destiny: the mysteries of life\, love\, and death\, which are also intertwined within Monteverdi’s song. The threads of the Moirai\, inexplicable in their trajectories\, compose the fabric of an unknown fate\, often poised to surprise us with the unpredictable tearing of its mesh. The result is a work on the frailty of human affairs and\, at the same time\, on the passionate and continuous evolution of life. \nConcept and choreography: Raphael BiancoMusic: Claudio Monteverdi

SUMMARY:Ancia Elettronica | JULY 3RD
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n“ANCIA ELETTRONICA” – ANDRAŽ GOLOB E CRISTINA MERCURI\nIn the spirit of the Festival\, encounters inspired by “parallel narratives” multiply: visions that intertwine in an exciting and surprising way\, even though they seem destined never to meet. \nWith “Ancia Elettronica\,” Andraž Golob and Cristina Mercuri inhabit this very distance: not to erase it\, but to traverse it. The project is born from the most authentic spirit of the Narrazioni Parallele Festival: connecting trajectories that would seem destined to move separately\, and discovering instead that a new language can emerge precisely from the gap\, the friction\, and mutual listening. \nGolob brings with him the rigor and depth of an international classical training: a Slovenian clarinetist\, he has been the bass clarinetist of the Berliner Philharmoniker since 2021\, following a journey that led him from Slovenia to Graz through orchestral and chamber music experiences of the highest level. Cristina Mercuri\, meanwhile\, brings the vibration of electronic sound—the possibility of transforming acoustic matter into mental space\, impulse\, reverberation\, and vision. \nTheir encounter does not seek a reassuring fusion. On the contrary\, it accepts the risk of contrast: references\, deviations\, hints\, sudden fractures\, and moments of unexpected synthesis. The reed becomes a threshold\, the electronics become breath; the instrumental gesture extends into the circuitry\, while the digital sound seems to search for its own flesh\, its own voice.

SUMMARY:Rapsodia di Terra e di Luna - Le voci femminili dell'antichità | JULY 4TH
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“RAPSODIA DI TERRA E DI LUNA – LE VOCI FEMMINILI DELL’ANTICHITÀ” – ANGELICA CATHARIOU\, MARIA ELENA BOVIO\, ALEXANDAR GRANDAL\nThere are voices that arrive from afar and have never stopped speaking to us.They are voices carved in stone\, entrusted to the memory of temples\, preserved in fragments of poetry\, having survived the collapse of empires and the dust of centuries. Voices of women who do not belong only to the past: they traverse it\, they break through it\, and they illuminate it. \nWith Rapsodia di Terra e di Luna\, the voice of Angelica Cathariou\, the harp of Maria Elena Bovio\, and the bassoon of Alexander Grandal open a sonic gateway toward archaic Greece and even more remote civilizations\, forgotten only in appearance. The concert thus becomes a journey between vanished worlds and contemporary sensibility\, where music does not simply reconstruct the ancient\, but awakens it as living matter—fragile and incandescent. \nAt the heart of this journey emerge female figures who inhabited the word as an act of love\, power\, and prayer. Enheduanna\, princess and priestess in the empire of Sargon and among the first authors known by name\, projects a voice that unites the sacred with politics\, and song with spiritual authority. Sappho\, from her thiasos\, transforms desire into an absolute poetic form\, making intimacy a force capable of spanning millennia. Sulpicia\, in 1st-century BCE Rome\, imbues the language of love with a surprising freedom that remains close\, direct\, and ardent even today. \nGiving body to these presences is a trio with a rare timbre: the intense voice of Angelica Cathariou\, an artist capable of moving between musical theater\, operatic repertoire\, and contemporary research; the harp of Maria Elena Bovio\, professor at the “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Milan and an active performer across classical repertoire and the music of today; and the bassoon of Alexander Grandal\, principal bassoon of the RAI National Symphony Orchestra—an instrument with a deep\, archaic\, almost terrestrial voice. \nVoice\, harp\, and bassoon form an unexpected sonic constellation: breath\, string\, and wood. Three different materials that evoke ritual\, storytelling\, and memory. \nRapsodia di Terra e di Luna is not a museum-piece tribute\, but a living experience of listening. It is an invitation to recognize\, in the words of these women\, questions that have never been extinguished: desire\, power\, the relationship with the divine\, the body\, freedom\, and the possibility of leaving a trace. Because some voices do not ask to be remembered: they ask to be heard once again.

SUMMARY:Veni\, Vidi\, So - Lo sguardo che conosce | JULY 24TH
DESCRIPTION:Buy the ticket\n\n\n\n\n“VENI\, VIDI\, SO – LO SGUARDO CHE CONOSCE”\nDo we truly see when we see?And what happens when the gaze\, instead of possessing the world\, accepts getting lost? \nVENI\, VIDI\, SO—the gaze that knows is born from this simple and dizzying question. Seeing is never merely seeing: every vision carries a shadow with it\, every light guards a fragment of night\, every gaze needs a veil\, an obstacle\, a distance to truly learn how to know. \nThe performance by Compagnia Tecnologia Filosofica invites the audience to enter an experience of mobile\, fragile\, and continuously transforming perception. Two dancers and a musician inhabit the space like an open question: where does the action happen? From where am I watching it? What changes if the dance appears from the side\, from afar\, through a gap\, behind a threshold\, or within a sudden frame? And how does the music change when it does not simply accompany the scene\, but breathes together with the place? \nFor Narrazioni Parallele Festival\, VENI\, VIDI\, SO becomes a site-specific project built upon the locations of the Borgo di Fenestrelle and the Forte di Fenestrelle. It is not a single show repeated in different spaces\, but an organism that changes shape according to the landscape that welcomes it. The Village and the Fortress are not backdrops: they are bodies\, surfaces\, memories\, and perspectives—places that look back and ask to be looked at differently. \nOn July 24th\, the Preview opens the journey like a first threshold: an invitation to arrange one’s gaze\, to enter a grammar of perception made of waiting\, proximity\, and displacement. \nOn July 25th\, with VENI\, VIDI\, SO_Il Forte Borgo\, the performance focuses on the Village: here\, the gaze becomes wandering\, contact\, and minute life. The houses\, the passageways\, the openings\, and the everyday distances become points of observation. The audience does not merely watch: they search\, peer\, move\, and construct their own frame. The village becomes a body\, a place of relationship\, a space where the familiar can suddenly become enigmatic. \nOn July 26th\, with VENI\, VIDI\, SO_Il Borgo Forte\, the performance turns its attention to the Fortress: monumental architecture\, stratified memory\, a machine made of stone and vision. Here\, the gaze takes on a different vibration: broader\, more vertical\, perhaps more restless. Perspective expands\, the body measures distance\, and the music inhabits cavities\, surfaces\, and echoes. Within the Fortress\, seeing means confronting that which looms over\, protects\, separates\, and preserves. \nThree moments\, then\, and two performances that reflect each other without coinciding. It is as if the Village and the Fortress were two different eyes of the same landscape: one more intimate\, inhabited\, and close to the community’s skin; the other vaster\, mineral\, and suspended between defense\, memory\, and the horizon. \nVENI\, VIDI\, SO is an invitation to see with different eyes\, to listen with different ears\, and to touch with different hands. A performance that interweaves dance\, live soundscapes\, gesture\, matter\, and community\, reminding us—along with Merleau-Ponty—that we see the world\, yet we must learn to see it anew every day.
