“TERRA – IL SUONO DELLA TERRA, I CANTI DELLE TERRE”

Body movement modifies the perception of Fondazione Merz’s architecture, opening up poetic and dreamlike imaginaries.
It defines new realities that emerge from the action of bodies within the environment. The significance of the site-specific is established through the re-definition of a familiar space that becomes unusual, original, and transformed.
The amplified reality created by the performers resonates as a harmony on both emotional and physical levels, providing the spectator with the value of a true sensory experience.

The Fibonacci sequence, also known as the “golden sequence”—the progression in which each number is the sum of the two preceding ones—is the mathematical ratio that dictates the rules of evolution in the plant and animal kingdoms. It is also a celebrated work by Mario Merz, which illuminates the exterior spaces of the Foundation.

“Sproporzione Aurea” is a co-production with the Narrazioni Parallele Festival, a national premiere.
