Madaski-Berardo-Agazzini: “Quando la musica è memoria” | SEPTEMBER 20TH
“TERRA – IL SUONO DELLA TERRA, I CANTI DELLE TERRE”
A program in which the resistance to the erasure of historical and environmental memories takes shape and becomes choral. A rejection that travels from the interiority of the Sonatas and Partitas for solo Violin by J.S. Bach to the joy of the festive rebellion of Occitan dances, with the alpine pirates of the Gran Bal Dub by Berardo and Madaski.
Passing through the olive groves of Palestine, ancient sacred voices of Greek culture are heard, supported by the song of marine species at risk of extinction (Hymne à Apollon by Limenius, 3rd century BC).
The protagonists of this concert, in the circular space of the Foundation, are the electronic musician Madaski, founder and keyboardist of Africa Unite, who has always been sensitive to the demands of oppressed cultures, the tireless researcher and true activist for the promotion of Occitan culture, Sergio Berardo, and the violin virtuoso Giacomo Agazzini.
