On the other, a gritty showman searches for his stage to express his talent. A twist of fate brings the two together. The result is a tug-of-war fought with music and baton strikes—an exhilarating musical duel featuring surprising and unexpected pop infusions.

It is a show that bridges the gap between distant generations: he is the only one who can transform a great classic like Va, pensiero into a trap music track and modernize Jerry Lewis’s famous “Typewriter” scene into “Whatsappwriter,” replacing the now-obsolete typewriter with the modern smartphone.

An innovative and overwhelming show that has sold out every single date of its tour. It blends different styles, registers, and languages—a mix of music and theater, solemnity and comedy, classical performance and cabaret. In other words, a clash between those who want to “harmonize” and those who want to “disrupt.”

But SConcerto is also a “role-play” and a play on roles. The Orchestra itself becomes a character, called upon to perform true musical acrobatics at the mercy of an eccentric conductor. He attempts to hide his inadequacy for the position he has claimed and frequently breaks the fourth wall, drawing the audience into his wild and “disconcerting” inventions.
