Wadi Ensemble: “Sproporzione armonica” | September 20th
“TERRA – IL SUONO DELLA TERRA, I CANTI DELLE TERRE”
The musicians of WADI invite the audience to join a shared journey, where musical identities are transformed through interaction with the various spaces of Fondazione Merz, giving shape to a continuous germination of new possibilities for experience, thought, and relationships.
The Fibonacci sequence (also known as the golden sequence) marks the rules of evolution in the plant and animal worlds, and it is also a famous work by Mario Merz that illuminates the external spaces of the Foundation.
The concert, created specifically for the Narrazioni Parallele Festival and the Foundation’s spaces, is a continuous flow and mutation of musical and sonic identities designed for active participation by the audience.
The Arabic word “wadi” indicates a riverbed with an irregular hydrogeological structure, whose fertile land promises rich cultivation, civilization, and exchange.
The ensembles of the Wadi project organically bring together male and female musicians from different traditions and languages, ranging from improvisation to the most rigorous composition.

A “NARRAZIONI PARALLELE FOOD & DRINK” AREA WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ENJOY A LATE AFTERNOON AND AN EVENING OF RELAXATION AND CULTURE.
