Angelica Cathariou

Angelica Cathariou has performed at major opera houses in Italy, as well as with the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Carnegie Hall (New York), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), Opéra Comique and Cité de la Musique (Paris), the Greek National Opera, Onassis Stegi, and the Athens Concert Hall.
She has also been a featured artist at various international festivals in Athens, Marseille, Budapest, and Cádiz. She has collaborated with prestigious orchestras, such as the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, working under the direction of renowned conductors including Claudio Abbado, Steuart Bedford, Jan Latham-Koenig, Miltos Logiadis, Myron Michailidis, and Michel Plasson.
Her artistic achievements have been recognized with several international honors, most notably the Orphée d’Or from the Académie Internationale du Disque Lyrique (Paris) in 2012 and the Special Music Award from the Euro American Women’s Council in 2010.
