A community of artists balancing research and linguistic innovation at the intersection of dance and theater, with a particular emphasis on physical work within a vision of theater conceived as a total act.
The experience of creativity is cultivated through the diverse artistic paths proposed by the collective’s members, all of which are reflected in its kaleidoscopic production and united by a poetic, sensitive approach.
This ethos is found not only in their creative output but also in their extensive educational work throughout the region. These initiatives include projects focused on social cohesion, as well as efforts to bring the public closer to physical practices and their expressive possibilities.
The work of Tecnologia Filosofica, recognized over the years through various awards and mentions, has also reached international audiences.
This global reach is the result of co-productions across the Alps with the Théâtre Durance in Château-Arnoux, participation in the Avignon Festival for Les Hivernales, and various tours and international collaborations organized across Belgium, France, Germany, Cuba, Brazil, the USA, Indonesia, Switzerland, Japan, China, and South Korea.
The company has been operating steadily in the city of Turin since 2000. Since 2008, it has been officially recognized by the Piedmont Region under Law 68. The collective also organizes the Morenica Festival, through which it promotes high-quality cultural programming across the Canavese area.
Recognized at a national level by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage as an Innovative Theater Enterprise for the 2025–27 triennium, the company was a partner of “Silence in the Dance Landscape,” a national network focused on social inclusion through dance (Mibact Transversal Actions 2015–17, coordinated by Carovana SMI in Cagliari).
In the city of Turin, for the 2024–26 period, Tecnologia Filosofica is a partner of O.A.S.I. (Alternative Orientation for Sustainability and Innovation) in the peripheral district of Le Vallette. This project, led by Stalker Teatro, won the public call “Torino, che cultura!” and is funded by PN Metro Plus and Middle Cities South 2021–27 (TO7.5.1.1.B Support for the Urban Economy in the Culture Sector).
Additionally, the collective was among the artistic organizations selected by the TAP call to support theatrical and dance activities in the city of Turin for the 2019–2023 period.
